Every release of both apps, taken from the update feeds rather than retyped — which is how a changelog ends up disagreeing with what the updater shows.

Hangly 2.0.0 macOS

The rope release, and the first one that can update itself.

Automatic updates. Hangly now checks for a new version once a week and installs it quietly in the background. Nothing to click, and nothing to download by hand again.
Release notes when a version arrives, shown once on the first launch after an update, plus a Check for Updates button on the About page for anyone who would rather ask.
Four more charms. A dream catcher joins the world collection; the RV joins Breaking Bad; The Weeknd joins Music Legends; and Spider-Man gets a second pose, hanging from the web line in his own hand.
A lighter download. The app ships its artwork as the vector files it actually draws from rather than as a compiled catalogue that also carried a bitmap of every charm it never used. The download went from 89 MB to 33 MB, and nothing about the artwork changed.
Five cords, up to three charms on one rope, eleven seasonal charms that arrive on their own, weather, and one Customize window in place of the three it used to take.

How updates reach you

On macOS both apps use Sparkle, which checks the feed on this site and installs in the background. Hangly has done this since 2.0; before that a new version meant downloading it by hand. On Windows, Hangly updates through Velopack, which checks when the app launches and applies the update at the next start.

This page is built from those same feeds. A release that is not in a feed cannot appear here, and a release that is here is one the updater will offer.

In short

Hangly on macOS is the mature build and moves in proper releases; the Windows build is still in the 0.9 range and moves faster and rougher. Vision is a smaller app with a smaller history. Nothing on this page is written by hand — it is the update feeds, rendered.
